Rules

HIDEAWAY PARK RULES

  1. Children are the responsibility of their parents or guardians and must be supervised at all times. This especially applies during play in the play ground and when swimming. Please note that there is no lifeguard on duty in the park.
  2. All vehicles MUST obey the 10 KM/hour speed limit while driving throughout the property. If a visitor is caught in excess of this limit they will be told not to return to the park. If a seasonal camper is caught, they will lose the right to drive in the park. Please keep in mind that children constantly cross our roads.
  3. Noise must be kept to a minimum between 11:00 P.M. and 9:00 A.M.
  4. Trailers sold in the park MUST be sold in accordance with park rules. Please refer to the following link for more information. Selling your trailer?
  5. Sites and trailers must be kept tidy and presentable.
  6. Any work, maintenance, and service that takes place on a site, whether it be by an external company or an individual hired in-park worker, must be reported to the office by the owners of the trailer BEFORE such maintenance or service is started.
  7. Site additions, modifications and improvements are subject to prior approval by management.
  8. Gate cards used to enter the park are permitted for use ONLY by those people that are registered under the site. Campers are not permitted to allow other people to use their card. Lost cards must be reported to the office immediately.
  9. Household garbage must be put in plastic bags and placed in the large garbage bins. It is the responsibility of each camper to dispose of other non-household garbage at the dump and not in the park garbage bins. Campers are also asked to make an effort to recycle when possible.
  10. Pets must be on a leash at all times. Be prepared to clean up any mess your dog leaves when you take a walk. There are a number of bare feet in the park. Please do not ignore the mess of your dog in bushy or treed areas, as children often play in such places. Certain types of dangerous pets are not permitted in the park. Please inquire at the office for more information.
