Selling or Buying a Trailer

Selling a Trailer on a Site

Selling a Non-Waterfront Trailer in the Park

  1. The first thing to do is to inform the office that your trailer is for sale. The owner of the trailer must pay the $1000 (+ HST) selling fee when their trailer is sold and before registration of the new owner. If for whatever reason this selling fee is not paid and the trailer is sold, the trailer will be moved off the site.
  2. Upon selling the trailer, the seller must pay their outstanding hydro bill.
  3. When a purchaser is found, the owners of the trailer must have the purchaser(s) fill in a park “Authorization Form” and submit this form to the office BEFORE the sale of the trailer. To obtain the form please Click Here.
  4. Make sure the purchaser(s) of the trailer have visited the park website and read the park rules.
  5. Advise the office of when the incoming campers will join the park.

Selling a Waterfront Trailer in the Park

  1. Campers with a trailer on a waterfront site must move their trailer off their site unless they ask and gain approval from management to purchase the right to sell their trailer on their particular site. The price is set at $5000 (+ HST). Hideaway management will generally allow waterfront campers to purchase this right, but reserve discretion to disallow this purchase.
